Backworth-bred Varlet, by Var(USA) out of Miss Unimac(AUS) by Bellotto(USA) won at the Vaal Thursday making it an impressive 2 from 2 for the four-year-old chestnut filly, in just over 2 weeks.
This win takes Varlet’s career record to 3 wins and 5 places from 14 starts for trainer Brian Wiid.
Varlet is a graduate from the Backworth draft of the 2009 Emperors Palace National Yearling Sale.
