Gypsy's Warning Filly A Winner In Ireland

Rathmor-bred Gypsy's Warning has produced her first winner, with her 2013 filly by Street Cry collecting her first win at Navan in Ireland for owner Flaxman Holdings and trainer David Bachman.

The filly has been knocking on the door for a win after placing four times from five starts.

She won over five furlongs by a head from Somebodytoldme and Gift Wrap, drawn seventh under jockey WJ Lee in good going.

Standing at Lane's End's Oak Tree Farm, Gypsy's Warning (by Mogok) produced an Animal Kingdom chestnut filly in March this year [pictured], a lovely amalgamation between two horses that ran in the Team Valor colours and both American Gr1 winners.

A Gr1 winner in South Africa and America, Gypsy's Warning sold to Flaxman Holdings - the breeders of her sire Mogok - at the conclusion of her racing career for over $1million US dollars.

Her dam Gypsy Queen has recently visited Noble Tune this season, whilst her Fort Wood daughter, Gypsy Madonna, standing at Varsfontein has foaled an impressive first foal - a colt by Master Of My Fate.

Gypsy Queen's two year old chestnut daughter by Silvano, named Judy Silvano, is entered onto the CTS Ready To Run Sale taking place on 20 November in Durbanville and should attract a lot of attention, being a lovely big strong filly with an exceptional pedigree.
