One of the first sons of Rock Of Gibraltar to go to stud in South Africa, Rocky Street(AUS) has had his first winner for breeders' Ashley McNabb and Milli Miliotis, from just three runners - another of which has placed at Greyville - Tony Rivalland's La Gitano.

Rocky Street recently relocated from Middlefield Stud to Yellow Star Stud.

The two year old gelding named Humble Harry is owned by Favour Stud and trained by Renate Du Plessis. He won at Fairview over 1000m by a head; out of Al Mufti mare Village Chimes, he has placed previously from three starts.

Humble Harry has a 2013 yearling full-brother coming through, named Rocky Borough. Village Chimes is impeccably bred with a speedy pedigree, her dam Goldie's Song by Golden Thatch is a half-sister to speed queens' Harry's Charm and Enchantress. This is also the immediate family of Siren's Call and National Currency.

Rocky Street is 15.3hh, a well-balanced and nicely topped bay with a very good temperament. Rocky Street's racing career was hampered from day one with a latent defect which only came to light on the race track and finally resulted in surgery. He ran three places from five starts in South Africa, (in his second start he was favourite over Pierre Jourdan) his first race saw him narrowly defeated by a length.

Rocky Street's former trainer Robbie Sage has said of the horse that his is, "without a doubt one of the most talented horses I have been associated with."

Rock Of Gibraltar is a son of Danehill out of Off Shore Boom, a Be My Guest mare. Rock Of Gibraltar set the track alight with 10 wins - he became the first horse ever to win seven consecutive Gr1s in the Northern Hemisphere, breaking the great Mill Reef's 30-year-old record.

He was famously co-owned by Sir Alex Ferguson of English Premier League champions, Manchester United.

Rock Of Gibraltar's wins include the Gr1 2000 Guineas, Gr1 Irish 2000 Guineas, Gr1 St James Palace Stakes, Gr1 Sussex Stakes, Gr1 Prix du Moulin, Gr1 Dewhurst Stakes; and a second in the Gr1 Breeder's Cup Mile. He was given a Time Form Rating of 133 and has gone onto sire a number of Gr1 winners and a Sire-Of-Sires himself.

Rocky Street's dam Lezayre, by Keltrice - is a 10-time winner, of which five wins were at the age of two in Australia. She placed second in the Gr3 Irwin Stakes and Malaysian Airlines Stakes (Listed) and ran a third Cinderella Stakes (Listed) and a fourth in the Gr3 SAJC Dermody Stakes.

Rocky Street(AUS) will stand alongside The Assayer, Tropical Empire, Kildonan, Spectrum, Lion Tamer, Meteor Shower and Damage Is Done at Yellow Star Stud.
