Strategic News(AUS) Foals at Rathmor Stud

Flotilla (Spaceship - Jungle Strand by Jungle Cove) produced a lovely big strong bay colt by Strategic News(AUS) on Friday morning. Flotilla is herself a 3 time winner with 9 places behind her name.
Her dam Jungle Strand was also a winner, and has produced 7 winners to date including 7-time winner King's Beach and 5-time winner Jungle Beach as well as 3-time winner Second Sea Lord.
Jungle Strand is a half-sister to Grade 2 Premier's Trophy winner King Shore (by Foveros) full sister to Jungle Sands, Grade 3 Drill Hall Stakes winner.
Strategic News has two other foals at Rathmor Stud, the first being out of Coconut Grove - by Rambo Dancer out of Cape Kiwi(NZ) by Kaapstad(NZ) - and the second out of Tiara's Tune(AUS) - by Xaar(a full brother to Modus Vivendi) out of Refuge by Sadler's Wells.
Strategic News raced in South Africa and Dubai and is 5 winner over a distance of 1600-2000 metres from the age of 3 to 5.
He won the Grade 1 Steinhoff Summer Cup over 2000 metres and the Dubal Casthouse Handicap over 1600 metres in Dubai.
Mike McHardy describes him as "a lovely large athletic individual, and very correct, with a nice temperament."
